Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Biomedical Technician located in Colombo. As a Biomedical Technician, you will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks of equipment maintenance, medical equipment troubleshooting and repair, ensuring electrical safety standards are met, and providing support in biomedical engineering projects. This role requires hands-on maintenance and repair work, as well as collaborating with the team to ensure optimal equipment performance and functionality.
Qualifications:
- NVQ level 5 qualified or equivalent qualifications in electronic engineering.
- Minimum 05 years of experience in the same field.
- Sound knowledge in fault diagnosis, repairs, servicing of electronic instruments.
- Possess a positive attitude, hardworking, well-disciplined, and willing to work under pressure.
- Excellent team player with innovative thinking.
Responsibilities:
- Attending to and completing repair jobs within the limits.
- Achieving the Service Agreements for the relevant instrument range in the given regions.
- Planning and implementing shipment inspection.
- Ensuring the availability of all operational and technical manuals sold by the company.
- Maintaining customer files for the assigned region.
