Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting audit engagements, following established guidelines and standards.
- Perform analytical reviews of financial statements, internal controls, and accounting systems.
- Support the identification and communication of audit findings, offering constructive recommendations.
- Collaborate with the audit team to ensure smooth and efficient completion of assignments.
- Engage with clients to address queries and facilitate the audit process.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in auditing practices and regulations.
- Contribute to the preparation of audit reports and presentations.
Qualifications:
- Following Business Level 2 at CASL / Member or Passed Finalist of AATSL / Following Applied Knowledge Level at ACCA / Following Managerial Level at CIMA or other similar professional background.
- Final Year undergraduate/ Graduate of bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1 year of work experience in external auditing at a reputed audit firm.
- Knowledge of auditing principles, financial reporting, and accounting standards.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (Sinhala & English).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
