Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Execute Audit plans with the assigned audits.
- Conduct audit assignments following established guidelines and standards.
- Review and analyze financial statements, internal controls, and accounting systems.
- Identify and communicate audit findings, providing recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with the audit team for efficient completion of engagements.
- Communicate with clients to address queries and ensure a smooth audit process.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in auditing practices and regulations.
- Assist in preparing audit reports and presentations.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing Strategic Level at CASL/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of practical training as an Audit Associate in a reputable firm.
- Strong understanding of audit methodologies, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards.
- Proficient in MS Office and possess good analytical and report-writing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Sinhala and English.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and collaborate effectively.
