Job Description
Job Title: Assistant Management Accountant
Location: Colombo
Gross Salary: 150K
Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis: Assist in analyzing financial data, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and supporting recommendations for financial improvements.
- Business Process Improvement: Aid cross-functional teams in re-engineering business processes to enhance performance and optimize investments.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives tailored to healthcare needs.
- Budgeting and Planning: Help prepare budgets and annual plans, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Performance Monitoring: Assist in establishing financial measurement standards and developing systems to monitor performance.
- Business Unit Evaluation: Support the evaluation of business unit performance and ensure management controls meet regulatory requirements.
- Cost Optimization: Help evaluate working capital investment needs and recommend cost optimization strategies.
The Person We Are Looking For:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role with a basic understanding of financial management.
- Education: Degree in Business Management or related field, with progress towards or completion of ICASL/ACCA/CIMA qualifications preferred.
- Analytical Skills: Good analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to interpret healthcare-specific data.
- Technology Proficiency: Proficiency in IT skills and familiarity with ERP systems used in healthcare settings.
- Attitude: Positive attitude with a strong work ethic, able to thrive under pressure while upholding values of integrity and compassion.
- Collaboration: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
