Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and set comprehensive quality objectives, translating them into policies, guidelines, or directives
- Oversee all quality operational activities, including implementation of quality gates, inspection and analysis of raw materials, in-process, and finished products
- Create and execute company’s quality standards aligned with customer expectations
- Offer guidance on various problem-solving methodologies for quality issues
- Evaluate customer requirements and ensure fulfillment
- Guarantee manufacturing processes adhere to local and international standards
- Collaborate with operational staff to establish and refine procedures, standards, and systems
- Generate monthly progress reports, analyzing performance data
- Enforce quality goals, maintain Food Safety plan, and support continuous improvement
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Production, Manufacturing, Materials Science and Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in food manufacturing, with 3 years in coconut manufacturing
- Knowledge of ISO 2200, HACCP, FSSC 2200, IFS, BRC, Organic Certification
- Certificate in Production and Inventory Management or Operations Management
- Male, aged below 45, willing to work long hours with commitment
- Excellent communication skills in English & Sinhala, with positive attitude
