Job Description
Our client, Smart Quest Consultancy, a leading food manufacturing company in Sri Lanka, is looking for an energetic individual to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage procurement processes for local and indirect materials
- Cultivate vendor relationships for competitive pricing and timely delivery
- Coordinate procurement activities to meet operational needs
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing
- Analyze data and generate reports using MS Excel
- Utilize SAGE/SAP ERP system for efficient procurement
- Provide training and support for staff
- Uphold quality standards and regulatory requirements
- Lead procurement-related projects within budgetary constraints
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Science, or Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and SAGE/SAP ERP
- Strong English communication skills
- Additional qualifications in 5S, Lean, and TPM are advantageous
