Job Description
A leading FMCG company in Sri Lanka, Uconnect, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager (Shopper Marketing) to join their talented team.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and analyze shopper behaviors, preferences, and trends to develop shopper marketing strategies.
- Plan and implement shopper marketing campaigns and in-store promotions, collaborating with sales, brand teams, and retailers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners, developing joint business plans and co-marketing initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of shopper marketing activities, providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
- Manage the shopper marketing budget effectively, ensuring all campaigns and activities are delivered within allocated budgets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in shopper marketing, trade marketing, or a related field within the FMCG industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- In-depth understanding of the FMCG industry and retail environments, with knowledge of shopper marketing trends and best practices.
