Job Description
Leading Manufacturing company located in Peliyagoda is looking for an Assistant Manager – International Sales (FMCG).
Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve company objectives in international markets for FMCG products.
- Collaborate with the International Sales Manager to identify new business opportunities, evaluate market trends, and assess competitor activities.
- Support the development and management of relationships with distributors, retailers, and key stakeholders in target markets.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including marketing, supply chain, and finance to ensure seamless execution of sales plans and timely delivery of products.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify consumer preferences, pricing trends, and regulatory requirements in different regions.
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to monitor performance against targets and identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in negotiating contracts, pricing agreements, and terms of sale with international partners.
- Provide training and support to sales teams in international markets to optimize performance and achieve sales objectives.
- Stay updated on industry developments, market dynamics, and emerging trends to proactively adapt sales strategies.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network with potential partners and promote brand awareness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in international sales or business development within the FMCG industry.
- Strong understanding of global markets, distribution channels, and sales techniques.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
