Key Responsibilities:

  • Risk Assessment: Identify and assess operational, financial, and compliance risks, providing actionable recommendations to mitigate potential issues.
  • Financial Oversight: Review and evaluate our financial reporting systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Leadership: Take charge of achieving our annual audit plan, while also guiding and developing our talented audit staff.
  • Special Projects: Lead special audits, investigations, and process reviews as directed by management, contributing to our continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Hold a degree in Finance, Commerce, or Business Management.
  • Certification: Possess a professional certification from a recognized accounting body (e.g., CA/ACCA/CIMA/CMA).
  • Experience: Bring 4-5 years of internal audit experience, ideally from a reputable audit firm or commercial establishment.
  • Sector Expertise: Previous experience in the healthcare sector is highly valued.
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate familiarity with network concepts, operating systems, application security, and database controls.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, paired with sharp analytical abilities.
  • Software Mastery: Proficiency in MS Office, particularly excelling in MS Excel.
