Job Description
Our Client is seeking an Assistant Manager specializing in Compliance, Health & Safety.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Chemical Management, Business Management, or related field.
- Certified in occupational health and safety from NIOSH or NEBOSH.
- Strong understanding of lean principles and ISO standards.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience focusing on compliance, health, and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations by guiding and monitoring.
- Identify workplace hazards, assess risks, and establish emergency protocols.
- Conduct drills, training, and awareness programs to enhance response capabilities.
- Develop safety programs and machinery operation guidelines.
- Support investigations and collaborate with authorities to improve safety standards.
- Complete safety, environmental, and ISO audits and report findings.
- Engage with stakeholders to support sustainability efforts.
