Job Description
As the Assistant Manager of Business Development at John Keells Logistics, you will be instrumental in driving sales and exploring new business opportunities in the third-party logistics (3PL) industry.
- Develop a strong sales strategy to attract clients from various industries.
- Identify new product development opportunities to increase revenue.
- Build and nurture client relationships for continuous business growth.
- Offer tailored logistics solutions such as warehousing, transportation, and on-site management.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitors.
- Execute marketing campaigns to generate leads.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements for business partnerships.
- Maintain accurate performance reports for strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.
- Additional qualifications in CIM, SLIM, CA, CIMA, ACCA, or CMA are advantageous.
- A Master’s degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management is a plus.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Experience in finance and the 3PL sector, especially in warehousing and transportation.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, team-oriented, with inclusive leadership abilities and a strong corporate network.
