Job Description

Job Role:

1. Conduct company policy liability valuation and regulatory reporting under RBC. This includes continuous methodology refinements in the end-to-end valuation process including data validation and governance, documentation, and coding & modeling in R, Python, SQL, and Prophet.
2. Conduct/assist various solvency projections (CAR) and sensitivity analysis for managing the company’s CAR position.
3. Engage in IFRS-17 implementation project.
4. Conduct experience studies in R, Python including documentation and monitoring trends.
5. Conduct product profitability studies.
6. Perform any other actuarial related duties assigned by the management.

Job Pre-Requisites:

1. Mathematics, Statistics or Actuarial Science degree from a recognized university.
2. 2 passes or more in Actuarial exams from a recognized Actuarial institution.
3. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in actuarial function in a reputed organization especially on policy liability valuation, experience studies, product pricing, and regulatory reporting under RBC.
4. Strong IT skills, in particular knowledge in SQL, R and Python.
5. Knowledge and experience in actuarial modeling software eg. Prophet.
6. Attention to details and understanding of Actuarial Control Cycle (ACC) and best practice.
7. Progress in the actuarial examination towards an associate qualification.
8. Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
