Job Description
Position: Assistant Management Accountant
Location: Colombo
Gross Salary: 150K
Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis: Analyzing financial data, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending financial improvements.
- Business Process Improvement: Re-engineering business processes to enhance performance and optimize investments.
- Strategic Planning: Evaluating strategic financial objectives tailored to healthcare needs.
- Budgeting and Planning: Preparing budgets and annual plans aligned with strategic goals.
- Performance Monitoring: Establishing financial measurement standards and monitoring performance systems.
- Business Unit Evaluation: Supporting business unit performance evaluation and regulatory compliance.
- Cost Optimization: Evaluating working capital needs and recommending cost optimization strategies.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in a similar role with basic financial management understanding.
- Education: Business Management degree, progress/completion of ICASL/ACCA/CIMA qualifications preferred.
- Analytical Skills: Good analytical and organizational skills, ability to interpret healthcare-specific data.
- Technology Proficiency: IT skills proficiency, familiarity with ERP systems in healthcare.
- Attitude: Positive, strong work ethic, thrives under pressure, values integrity and compassion.
- Collaboration: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, effective in multidisciplinary teams.
