Qualifications/Experience
- Engineering graduate with 3 years’ experience or NDT with 5 years’ experience in facilities and maintenance or equivalent
- Experience in facility management, electrical, mechanical, civil or marine fields
- Hotel/premises maintenance experience
- Experience in IOT devices/ELV systems/access control/BMS will be an advantage
- Experience in project management
Preferred Skills
- Ability/experience in communicating with multinational/expatriate stakeholders
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
- Organisational and time management skills
- Honesty and discretion
- Computer literacy – Be proficient in AutoCAD/Microsoft Project
Overall Responsibility
Monitoring, recording & reporting, maintaining the condition and functionality of the premises and ensuring health & safety and compliance requirements.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Ensure that the premises, equipment and machinery are in good order
- Ensure the health & safety of premises
- Fulfil the compliance of facilities and maintenance operations
- Maintenance of expatriate staff houses under the school’s purview
- Supply goods and facilitate logistics for all school-related events
- Working on all the school software systems such as ERP systems
- Coordinating and delegating work of the technical and service force on a daily basis
- Coordinating the daily operations of the facilities and maintenance department
