Job Description

The Assistant Director of Corporate Affairs at The Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka plays a crucial role in monitoring compliance with SEC Act, Listing Rules, and Accounting Standards. Responsibilities include policy recommendations, overseeing listed companies, new listings, and regulatory affairs. Reporting to the Director, this position requires strong analytical skills, stakeholder management, initiative, and excellent communication.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Articulate, analytical, and decisive
  • Excellent interpersonal and PR skills
  • Digital literacy and negotiation skills
  • Experience in Audit firm advantageous

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, or Business Administration
  • Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants
  • 8+ years managerial experience in finance or accounting
  • Knowledge of SLFRS and regulatory affairs
