Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Category Manager at Mind Plus in Colombo. The role involves tasks such as category management, analytical work, contract negotiation, procurement, and sales activities.
Qualifications:
- Professional qualification in marketing.
- Previous experience in Electronics & home appliances is an advantage.
- 2 to 3 years experience in a similar capacity.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong team player.
- Good interpersonal and people-handling skills.
- Possess a valid driving license.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement category plans to drive sales and margin growth.
- Analyze market trends and consumer behavior.
- Set and achieve financial targets and KPIs for the home appliances category.
- Collaborate with suppliers to manage inventory levels and ensure product availability.
