Job Description

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Accountant to join our client’s team. If you have a passion for numbers and a strong understanding of financial processes, this could be the perfect role for you.

Designation: Assistant Accountant (Manufacturing Industry)

Location: Colombo

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• Provide insights through financial data analysis to support decision-making.
• Assist in the coordination of audits and tax filings.
• Ensure compliance with company policies by monitoring cash flow and transactions.
• Collaborate across departments to improve financial processes.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as ACCA or CPA is preferred.
• Proven experience in accounting/finance roles, ideally in the tea or food manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail.
