“Adamjees,” also known as Adamjee Lukmanjee & Sons, is a leading manufacturer and exporter of Coconut Oil, Copra & Desiccated Coconut in Pannala, Sri Lanka. The company holds a strong heritage in exporting Coconut Kernel products and seeks an Assistant Accountant to join their team. Responsibilities include financial statement preparation, balance sheet reconciliation, audit support, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial statements & timely reporting
- Adhere to month-end close timetable
- Maintain balance sheet accounts
- Ensure accuracy and policy compliance
- Support audit preparation
- Generate management reports
Qualifications
- Partial qualification in ICASL, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Experience with SAP B1 is a plus
- Fluency in English
- Strong analytical and communication skills
