Job Description
I am seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager – Administration to oversee the administrative functions of the bank. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in banking operations, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the administration department, including office services, and administrative support staff.
- Develop and implement administrative policies, procedures, and systems to streamline operations.
- Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and resource allocation for the administrative department.
- Coordinate and support company events, meetings, and conferences.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for office supplies, equipment, and services.
- Oversee procurement processes and ensure cost-effective purchasing.
- Manage outsourced services, including cleaning, drivers, and the mailroom.
- Supervise fleet management to ensure the efficient use and maintenance of company vehicles.
- Handle communication services.
- Oversee inventory management to ensure adequate supply levels and proper storage.
- Manage archives to ensure proper documentation, storage, and retrieval of company records.
- Provide strategic support to senior management and other departments.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Possess a minimum of 8 years of experience with at least 3 years in a similar capacity.
- Should possess a degree or equivalent professional qualification.
- Proven experience in an administrative leadership role, preferably within a similar industry.
- Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
