Job Description
EFutures, a leading provider of software and IT consultancy services in Sri Lanka, is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk. The role involves processing invoices, obtaining payment approvals, and maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Apply accounting principles to accounts payable tasks
- Voucher invoices with proper coding and accuracy
- Obtain payment approvals and onboard vendors
- Compile payment proposals and process payments weekly
- Analyze discrepancies, reconcile accounts, and maintain documents
- Participate in month-end close, audits, and tax filings
- Build positive relationships with business partners
Qualifications:
- Proficient in Excel and Outlook
- Knowledge of accounts payable functions
- Experience in invoice processing and payments
- Self-motivated, organized, and a team player
- Effective communicator with excellent time management skills
