Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Accounts Assistant to support our finance team in day-to-day accounting tasks. If you are detail-oriented and eager to grow your career in accounting, we invite you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record financial data using QuickBooks (QB) system.
- Assist in audits as assigned by the supervisor.
- Process client payments when required.
- Maintain and update client financial records using Excel.
- Collect and organize weekly financial data from clients.
- Attend to tax-related matters including VAT, SSCL, Income Tax, etc.
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum of 1-year experience in a similar role.
- Part qualification in CA Sri Lanka, ACCA, or AAT.
- Sound knowledge of tax regulations, especially related to VAT, SSCL, and Income Tax.
- Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and other MS Office applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines independently.
