Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Accounts Assistant to support our finance team in day-to-day accounting tasks. If you are detail-oriented and eager to grow your career in accounting, we invite you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record financial data using QuickBooks (QB) system.
• Assist in audits as assigned by the supervisor.
• Process client payments when required.
• Maintain and update client financial records using Excel.
• Collect and organize weekly financial data from clients.
• Attend to tax-related matters including VAT, SSCL, Income Tax, etc.

Candidate Profile:

• Minimum of 1-year experience in a similar role.
• Part qualification in CA Sri Lanka, ACCA, or AAT.
• Sound knowledge of tax regulations, especially related to VAT, SSCL, and Income Tax.
• Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and other MS Office applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines independently.
