Job Description

Accounts Assistant Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, invoice processing, and reconciliation of accounts.
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and update ledgers regularly.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable activities for timely payments and collections.
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies as needed.
  • Assist with payroll processing and tax filings.
  • Support finance team with administrative tasks and projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
  • Strong English communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of Booking Software like Xero, QBO, Sage or other cloud-based systems.
  • Able to prepare small company financial statements.
