Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing, billing, and collections
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements and ensure accuracy in all financial records
  • Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Monitor and analyze financial data to identify areas for cost reduction and revenue growth
  • Communicate financial information to management and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Ensure compliance with all accounting regulations and standards
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and record-keeping
  • Train and mentor junior accounting staff, if applicable

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field and part qualified in CA
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Assistant Accountant, preferably with experience using QuickBooks
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
