Job Description
The accountant will be responsible for handling daily Accounting and Finance department duties. Must work independently under pressure, cope with sudden situations, and maintain 5s standards. Background in manufacturing accounting required.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including AP/AR, billing, and month-end processes.
- Knowledge of Taxation, Auditing, Manufacturing accounts.
- Preparation of financial statements, bank reconciliation.
- Manage books of accounts, payments, and cash.
Qualifications:
- Excellent Accounting and Finance knowledge.
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting/AAT/CA/ACCA (Finance degree advantage).
- 3-5 years’ experience, MS Office proficiency.
- Good communication skills in English & Sinhala.
