Job Description
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure appropriate accounting policies are applied during the preparation of yearly and monthly accounts.
- Supervise daily operations within the scope of accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Assist in budget preparation and income-expenditure patterns.
- Oversee bank funds collection, deposit, and reconciliation.
- Ensure timely submission of VAT and tax returns.
- Provide customer support and assist in resolving payment issues.
- Maintain financial information on outturns and budget variances.
- Conduct management checks and audit trials monthly.
- Process payments and financial documents accurately.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Accounts Executive or similar role.
- Solid knowledge of accounting and financial principles.
- Excellent knowledge of cost accounting and risk analysis.
- Working knowledge of financial software and MS Office.
- Analytical mind with strong math skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Organizational and leadership abilities.
- Part or full qualification in accounting or finance.
- Relevant certifications preferred (e.g. AAT, CIMA, CMA, CA or CGMA).
