Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Handle day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Handle duties single-handedly from basic accounting to final accounts.
- Execute transactions related to financial accounting.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet schedules.
- Support reconciliations and resolutions for open items.
- Coordinate with other staff regarding accounting requirements.
- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality in tasks.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Full qualifications in AAT or part qualifications in CA/CIMA/ACCA and/or Degree in Accountancy from a recognized University.
- Excellent computer literacy and ability to work with accounting packages.
- Analytical and logical thinker with a positive attitude.
- 2 or more years of working experience in the retail industry is an added advantage.
