Job Description

• Providing independent and objective oversight and monitoring for the implementation of cybersecurity across Sysco’s European operating companies
• Directing and managing Security Leads across regions
• Translating policy(s) and standards set forth by the Cybersecurity Risk and Compliance Management Team into the environment
• Increasing awareness and fostering accountability for security across the enterprise
• Facilitating bi-directional communication between operations teams globally and enterprise security while advocating for both in a balanced manner
• Escalating risks and exceptions to the Cybersecurity Risk and Compliance Management Team and Change Management
• Participating in and assisting with security incident readiness and response training and awareness including supporting cybersecurity incident response activities
• Overseeing responsibilities for both security and business continuity – governance, reporting, compliance, risk assessments, etc.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related fields
• 12+ years of experience of cybersecurity and or information risk management
• A solid grasp of how operational systems and their environments are designed, including familiarity with software/firmware that form parts of the applications/solutions and insights into their behavior
• An in-depth understanding of cybersecurity solutions and requirements within the food and service industry
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor and engage communication across all levels of the organization
• One or more of the following certifications: CISSP, CISM, ISSAP, ISSEP, GRID
• The ability to understand and provide metrics
