Job Description
Pinnacle Ocean Supply (POS) is a subsidiary of Meridian Maritime Services (MMS) and is one of the leading ship chandlers in Sri Lanka. POS is a member of the Sri Lanka Ship Suppliers Association (SLSSA) and International Ship Supply Association (ISSA). Our focus is on delivering top-quality services to ensure vessels’ smooth operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Developing inventive and cost-effective procurement strategies.
- Sourcing reliable suppliers and maintaining supplier relationships.
- Negotiating with vendors for advantageous terms.
- Reviewing supplier contracts for feasibility.
- Preparing purchase orders and ensuring timely delivery.
- Controlling procurement budget and promoting savings.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and quality standards.
- Preparing procurement reports.
Candidate Profile/Qualifications
Minimum 1 year procurement experience.
Minimum qualification: G.C.E. Advanced Level or related professional qualifications.
Computer skills in Word and Excel required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of maritime regulations is a plus.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
