Job Description
Position: Assistant Tax Manager

Leading FMCG, Food & Consumer Manufacturing Group of Tier 1 company
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participate in Group Tax planning and budgeting in compliance with Tax Laws.
- Review and ensure Tax compliances across the Group.
- Prepare Income Tax computations for all SBUs.
- Obtain necessary Tax Registrations and clearances for Group Companies.
- Represent company for tax matters with IRD and stakeholders.
- Assist in filing tax returns and payments.
- Alert the team on amendments in Tax Laws.
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
- Finalist in CA Sri Lanka or Finance/Accounting degree holder with 2-3 years’ experience.
- Experience in handling various taxes independently.
- Strong grasp of business, technical issues, and industry trends.
- Ability to travel and interact with Statutory Bodies.
- Interpersonal, analytical, and time management skills.
- Punctuality and dedication to company objectives.
- Passionate about Taxation and seeking a career in this field.
