Job Description
We are seeking a high-energy, results-oriented Assistant Manager Factory Sales to join our Commercial Department Sales team at Avery Dennison. Reporting to the Sales Manager – Factory Sales, you will execute set strategies and plans to retain and increase market share through new business development and share gain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve revenue targets for each factory monthly.
- Visit all nominated factories regularly.
- Coordinate Business Developments to win new business.
- Provide forecasts for material and capacity planning.
- Assess market/customer trends for sales planning.
- Ensure flow of information to relevant departments.
- Value selling through negotiation and meeting factory expectations.
Other Responsibilities:
- Drive special projects with key customers.
- Support ISO procedures and Health & Safety standards.
- Follow Environmental Management system.
- Continuous improvement and knowledge development.
- Provide feedback on training and ensure policy compliance.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication skills in English & Sinhala.
- Strong PR and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of the Apparel industry.
- Ability to coordinate marketing team for results.
- Self-starter with a proactive approach.
