Job Description
Skills:
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Application.
- Ability to independently handle AR & AP function in a computerized accounting environment.
Job Description (AR):
- Customer Collection Accounting and Reporting.
- Periodic reconciliation of AR ledger with GL control accounts and clear outstanding’s.
- Liaising with customers and dispute resolution.
- Quarterly confirmation of balances with customers.
- In general assist audit in functions related to AR.
Job Description (AP):
- Supplier/Vendor Accounting.
- Periodic reconciliation of AP ledger with GL and clear outstanding.
- Liaise and dispute resolution with Suppliers/Vendors.
- Follow up on invoices not received and avoid duplicate payments.
- Quarterly confirmation of balances with vendors and suppliers.
- In general assist audit in functions related to AP.
Qualifications:
- Part qualification in CA/ACCA/CIMA/CMA/AAT.
- Minimum one year work experience in logistics/supply chain management in finance is mandatory.
