Job Description
Designation: Quality Control Executive
Location: Colombo
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze in-process and finished product samples using Standard Test Procedures.
- Perform analysis of raw materials and stability samples to ensure compliance.
- Conduct daily and monthly calibration of analytical balance, pH meter, and conductivity meter.
- Sample and analyze purified water, WFI water, and pure steam condensate.
- Follow good documentation practices in quality control.
- Utilize UV Spectrometer, FTIR, Polarimeter, and TOC for sample testing.
- Prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure adherence to Pharmacopeias requirements.
- Monitor laboratory items stock, glassware cleaning, and laboratory cleaning processes.
- Prepare trend reports and maintain laboratory 5S system.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree specialized in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or similar discipline.
- Minimum 2+ years of working experience in a similar capacity (Freshers also can apply).
- Proficiency in handling laboratory instruments such as HPLC, UV, FTIR, Dissolution apparatus, etc.
- Knowledge of instrument calibration procedures.
- Ability to work well in both team-oriented and self-directed environments.
- Good communication skills in English.
