Job Description
Job Title: Customer Support Executive
Industry: Telecommunications
Salary: 50K–60K
The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate for this role is someone with a customer-centric mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide efficient technical support. Knowledge and experience with Apple products, coupled with a proactive approach to learning and maintaining certifications, will set you apart in this dynamic role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Frontline Operations:
o Attend to walk-in customers professionally.
o Manage the delivery and receiving of service devices.
- Customer Interaction:
o Achieve set qualitative and quantitative targets while updating relevant CRMs.
o Ability to provide Level 1 & Level 2 technical support would be an added advantage
o Follow up and make scheduled call backs to customers when necessary.
- Technical Troubleshooting:
o Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues by coordinating with necessary teams and parties.
o Stay updated with system information, changes, and updates.
- Communication:
o Update customers on repair/service status in a timely manner.
o Demonstrate superior written and oral communication skills.
o Fluent in Sinhala and English; fluency in Tamil is an added advantage.
- Customer Relations:
o Demonstrate empathy and patience while dealing with customer inquiries.
Qualifications and Skills:
• 1-2 years of experience in technical support or front-line customer service.
• Knowledge and experience with Apple products and repairs would be an added advantage.
• Prior experience in Electronics / Telecommunication/ IT or a related field will be an added advantage.
