Job Description
The Manager – Planning and Procurement will play a key role in overseeing all aspects of planning and procurement activities within the organization. Responsibilities include developing and implementing strategies to optimize inventory levels, streamline procurement processes, and ensure timely delivery of materials and services while maintaining cost-effectiveness and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans
- Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders for operational needs
- Identify suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships
- Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and regulatory requirements
- Implement and maintain procurement systems
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field
- Minimum 3 years of managerial experience in planning and procurement
- Strong understanding of planning and procurement principles
- Excellent negotiation and contract management skills
- Experience in an ERP environment
