Job Description
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of potable water treatment facilities.
- Monitor and control equipment, conduct water quality tests, handle chemicals, troubleshoot issues, and maintain detailed records to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Prioritize safety protocols, respond to emergencies, and perform routine maintenance to uphold equipment reliability.
- Effective communication with colleagues and regulatory agencies is essential, as is ongoing training to stay abreast of industry standards and technological advancements.
- Delivering clean and safe potable water to our aircraft while meeting stringent quality and safety standards.
Qualifications
- NVQ level 4 or above qualification in food science/microbiology, or chemistry.
- Previous working experience at the National Water Board or a water plant operating company.
