Job Description
Disclaimer: This is an independent consultancy contract for a period of 06 months.
Main Responsibilities
- Practice best QE guideline defined by the QE department
- Work with associate engineers to understand business requirements
- Work with Snr. Engineers to understand the technical specifications
- Participate in requirement review sessions and log clarification
- Write functional test cases, execute & manage defects
- If automation, handle scripting and troubleshooting
- Support Snr. engineers to identify non-functional requirements
- Participate in System Integration Testing
- Prepare UAT documents and conduct UAT demos
- Follow Agile processes and ensure on-time delivery
- Adhere to hierarchy for escalations
Qualifications/ Skills/ Knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, or BSc equivalent qualification with 2+ years of experience
- 1+ years of experience in Software Engineering
- Good understanding of basic QA practices
- Knowledge of testing concepts and models
- Experience in Test Management tools like Jira/HPQC
- Hands-on experience in test automation with Selenium
- Analytical, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills
- Understanding of Scrum and Agile practices
