Job Description
Position: Executive – Health and Safety
Preliminary Objective
Responsible for ensuring the safety, health, and well-being within the organization. Develop and implement policies, conduct risk assessments, and promote health initiatives tailored to executive needs. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, foster a culture of safety, and manage emergency preparedness.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute health and safety plans aligning with the overall strategy.
- Establish a health and safety culture.
- Conduct training sessions on health and safety.
- Monitor standards, inspect operations, equipment, and machinery.
- Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety guidelines.
- Implement prevention measures and maintain statistics on related incidents.
- Manage data reporting to top management.
Qualifications
- Diploma or professional qualification in Occupational Safety and Health.
- Minimum 1-2 years of similar experience.
- Knowledge of health and safety laws, regulations, and standards.
- Caring for human health and safety.
- Ability to train others.
- Knowledge of infection control is a plus.
