Job Description

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to join our team in Sri Lanka. This position involves timely processing of payments, coordinating with suppliers, performing bank and balance sheet reconciliations. The successful candidate will be responsible for accounts payable, bank reconciliations and any queries from suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Processing vendor invoices and posting to Xero
• Processing employee claims and obtaining approval
• Reconciling vendor statements to identify missing invoices
• Handling the Accounts payable common mailbox
• Performing bank and other balance sheet reconciliations
• Liaising with suppliers to negotiate on payment terms

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of accounts payable experience
• Supplier handling experience via phone and email
• Effective team player with attention to detail
• Adaptable and able to work under pressure
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Results-driven, organized, and motivated

Must Have Technical Stack

• Partly qualified in CIMA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent
