Job Description
Education, Skills and Experience
- Degree in Sales and Marketing/Economics/Related Field (master’s degree or MBA preferred)
- Professional qualification in marketing (e.g. CIM)
- Proficiency in English, Sinhala and/ or Tamil
- Proficient in MS Office Applications
- Sales and marketing acumen
- Excellent understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Over 5 years’ experience in business development in the financial services industry
Detailed Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve revenue targets
- Introduce new investors and expand company portfolio
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams
- Ensure high levels of investor satisfaction and retention
- Generate revenue and manage expenses within budget
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Provide market insights and customized portfolio strategies
- Stay updated on market dynamics and regulatory requirements
- Conduct market research, training, and knowledge sharing
- Undertake assigned tasks by line manager
