Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Quality Control to oversee our canned food production process. The role involves ensuring compliance with industry standards, food safety regulations, and maintaining the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality control procedures for regulatory compliance.
- Monitor production stages to ensure product quality and safety.
- Conduct quality audits, identify improvement areas, and collaborate with production teams.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, including HACCP, and manage required documentation.
- Supervise laboratory testing, training the quality control team, and liaising with suppliers for raw materials.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Quality Management, or related field.
- 5+ years of quality control experience in the food industry (canned food experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, HACCP, and quality assurance processes.
- Detail-oriented with problem-solving skills, strong communication, and leadership abilities.
- Experience with quality control tools and software is advantageous.
