Job Description
Our client, a prominent player in the Sri Lankan construction industry, is currently seeking skilled Technical Officers to join their site teams. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with technical expertise and a hands-on approach to oversee construction operations on-site and ensure the highest quality standards in project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate daily construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and adhere to safety standards.
- Monitor and enforce quality standards, ensuring construction is carried out per specifications, plans, and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with site engineers, subcontractors, and laborers to achieve seamless execution of tasks.
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshoot issues as they arise, ensuring efficient project progress.
- Conduct routine inspections and generate reports on work progress, material usage, and potential issues to the Project Manager.
- Implement and adhere to safety procedures, proactively identifying and mitigating risks on-site.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related field.
- Minimum 1+ years in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong team-oriented approach.
