Job Description
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Logistics Executive at FITS Express – ASC for UPS Sri Lanka located in Colombo. The Logistics Executive will be responsible for managing logistics and supply chain operations, ensuring timely delivery of goods, maintaining communication with customers and sales teams, and optimizing logistics processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate transshipment labels and invoices
- Arrange shipment collections
- Create manual shipping labels and shipment manifests for transshipments
- Assist the team with customer inquiries related to shipping
- Update Excel sheets and submit reports for tracking and tracing shipments
- Monitor transshipments from origin to destination and alert the team to any escalations
- Respond to customer inquiries and customer calls
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
- Generate periodic reports for the Head of Operations on shipment statuses and performance
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar capacity is a must
- Degree in Logistics Management
- Excellent communication skills
- Time management and multitasking skills
- Excellent knowledge in MS Office package
