Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Consistently achieve and surpass sales targets through proactive strategies
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key clients for business growth and retention
  • Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries, ensuring smooth communication
  • Lead client meetings with a results-oriented and customer-focused approach
  • Monitor market trends and industry developments, providing timely updates to stakeholders
  • Strengthen relationships with principals, agents, and other key stakeholders in the shipping and logistics network
  • Provide detailed and transparent sales reports on a weekly basis
  • Gather and analyze market information to support strategic business decisions

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in sales within the sea freight or logistics industry
  • Professional qualifications in Sales, Marketing (SLIM/CIM), or Business Management from a recognized institution
  • Proven experience in building and managing long-term customer relationships
  • Strong ability to maintain a robust and satisfied customer base
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • An advantage if the candidate has established relationships in the shipping or logistics industry, including freight forwarders
