Job Description
About the Role:
We are looking for a meticulous Business Analyst to join our Corporate Planning and Reporting team at Mercantile Investments and Finance PLC. You will work closely with the Head of Corporate Planning and Reporting to drive strategic planning processes and performance reporting. The ideal candidate should excel in financial analysis, forecasting, and business intelligence to provide key decision-making insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to long-term strategic plans, annual budgets, and forecasts development.
- Analyze financial data to uncover trends, variances, and optimization opportunities.
- Prepare financial commentaries for reports, presentations, and special initiatives.
- Conduct market and competitive analysis to support planning.
- Aid in automating and streamlining reporting processes for enhanced efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent study.
- Prior experience in Planning & Budgeting, Financial Reporting, and financial analysis is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and meet deadlines.
