Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Duty Manager – Night at Taj Hotels in Colombo. The Duty Manager will oversee the night operations, manage staff, ensure guest satisfaction, handle emergencies, and maintain security protocols. This role requires attention to detail, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel operations, front office management, and procedures
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies calmly
• Knowledge of safety and security procedures
• Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
• Relevant degree or certification in hospitality management or related field
