Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Installation, configuration, patching, and upgrading of database server software and related products.
- SQL Tuning.
- Establish and maintain sound recovery and backup policies and procedures.
- Implement and maintain database security.
- Ensuring data integrity and availability.
- Execute periodic disaster recovery testing.
- Performance management and tuning.
- Database monitoring and maintenance.
- Capacity planning.
- Database administration on-premise and in the cloud.
- Setup and maintain documentation and standards.
Pre Requisites:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems.
- OCP/OCI Certification.
- 5+ years experience on Oracle DBA activities.
- Highly knowledgeable in Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard and OEM.
- Experience in Database troubleshooting and performance tuning.
- Experience in Oracle DBA activities in cloud environments.
- Work as part of a team and provide 24×7 support when required.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
