Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Windows Systems Engineer to oversee Windows-based infrastructure with occasional Linux system interaction for specific tasks. This role involves managing critical systems, ensuring smooth operations, and following a flexible weekly schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Regular log monitoring on Windows servers.
2. Oversight of backups to ensure completion.
3. Morning system validation checks.
4. Management of Hyper-V cluster and virtual machines.
5. Maintenance of SAN connections for optimal performance.
6. Administration of Active Directory, Intune, and Office 365.
7. Validation testing on Windows systems.
Qualifications:
– 5+ years industry experience with US or European clients.
– Proficiency in Windows Server administration, Hyper-V, SAN connections, and Office 365.
– Ability to work independently and handle incidents during overnight shifts.
Work Schedule:
– Odd weeks: Monday to Friday
– Even weeks: Wednesday to Sunday
