Job Description
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining Java-based applications with REST services and Batch processes
- Collaborating with development leads, System Architects, and other teams to manage dependencies, risks, and issues
- Contributing in all phases of the development lifecycle
- Participating in code reviews and conducting automated unit testing
- Supporting testers and resolving defects
- Writing testable, scalable, and efficient code
- Maintaining up-to-date code documentation
- Minimum 5 years of experience in designing web services and Batch applications using Java and the Spring framework
- Minimum 3 years of experience in developing REST services with Spring Boot
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Spring Batch development
- Minimum 3 years of experience in writing SQL/procedures with SQL Server or Oracle
- Experience in developing and consuming SOAP and REST services
- Experience in Spring Security
- Experience in unit testing frameworks like jUnit and Mockito
- Experience in the Cucumber framework is a plus
- Experience with ORM frameworks like myBatis and Hibernate
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
- Knowledge of AWS Batch is desirable
- Experience in creating design documentation using UML
