Your role will involve:
- Establishing and maintaining manufacturing accounts for the production facilities.
- Monitoring and analyzing production costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and reporting on financial performance.
- Supporting the preparation of factory budgets and ensuring compliance with budgetary limits.
- Comparing actual results/costing with budgeted results/costing to evaluate performance and identify variances.
- Managing factory petty cash floats, ensuring proper documentation and control measures are in place.
- Processing all factory-related payments, including supplier invoices and operational expenses, in accordance with company policy.
- Conducting regular reconciliations of petty cash and payment accounts to ensure accuracy and transparency.
- Ensuring proper documentation for all cash transactions and payment processes Compliance and Control.
- Performing random work studies to evaluate efficiency and ensure adherence to costing sheets.
- Carrying out monthly input-to-output reconciliations and addressing any discrepancies with relevant parties.
- Monitoring processes and providing suggestions for output improvement.
- Entering financial transactions into the ERP system, ensuring accuracy.
- Overseeing the accuracy of inventory data entered by the responsible personnel.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A professional qualification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA, CMA) is highly desirable.
- Advanced knowledge of financial management, costing, and accounting principles.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in financial management, costing, or accounting within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record in managing and reconciling petty cash, processing payments, and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, with experience in entering and managing financial data.
- Knowledge of specific ERP software relevant to the manufacturing industry is a plus.
