Job Description

• Receive rate request from customer (via mail or telephone call)

• Take rates from liner

• Send quotation and get the approval

• After confirmation take the booking from the customer

• Get the space confirmation from line and place the booking

• Get the release order from the line

• Forward to customer

• Checking opening/cutoff details and inform the same to customer

• Once gate-in container, get the BL draft from the customer

• Submit SI and VGM to the liner

• Send draft BL to customer and get the confirmation

• Once confirmed, take print outs and deliver to customer

• Request liner invoice, arrange payment, and take BL from the line

• Create invoice for the customer

• Send pre-alert to agents

• Follow up until shipment reaches the destination
